The First Watch

Please look up Luke 12:34-38

Notice verse 35

Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning;

Now look at the parable of the virgins in Matt 25 Notice the resemblance of the two Scriptures Luke 12 and Matt 25 They are both speaking of the lamps burning.

But notice they all slept, the wise and the foolish both slept. It's being taught in Christendom today that the wise virgins are a type of the bride. But with a little study of the Hebrew customs one would find that the virgins are (BRIDES MAIDS AND NOT THE BRIDE) which are lighting the path on the way to the MARRIAGE FEAST(supper) not on the way to the WEDDING. So where is the bride? The answer to this question is found in Luke 12:34-38. Please read these Scriptures "carefully".

In verse 7 the marriage is mentioned and in verse 9 the marriage supper of the Lamb is mentioned. Notice it says Blessed are they who are CALLED unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. Why is this important? Because those that are the bride are not called they are chosen. Jesus said "Many are called but few are chosen." You see those that missed the marriage are being called to the wedding reception (wedding feast) as guests as we see in the Wedding parable Mat 22:2. 

The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son, Please read this parable you will see that the ones that are called are guests not the bride. If the guests need to have on their wedding garments how much more the BRIDE! Remember it's the bride that does the invitations too her wedding not the guests. We see her inviting her guests here Rev 22:17 "The Spirit and the bride say, Come.

Also note below Matt 25:13 Jesus is saying to "Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh."

Notice the word WATCH! This has great significance.

Now look at Luke 12. Jesus is talking about a 2nd Watch, 3 Watch but there is no mention of a 1st Watch, Why? The answer is in Luke 12:36 Please read asking the Holy Spirit to reveal this to you. Luke 12:3 "And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately."

Notice The Bridegroom is coming! But who is He coming for? Notice the word "FROM" WHEN HE WILL RETURN FROM THE WEDDING.

Summary: Barley Harvest is the 1st Watch, Wheat Harvest is 2nd Watch Grapes are 3rd Watch

By the time He returns (the Rapture of the Church) Wheat harvest, THE WEDDING HAS ALREADY TAKEN PLACE! THIS IS THE FIRST WATCH, THE FIRST FRUITS! GLORY!
