PSALM 105:19
"Until the time that his Word came: the Word of the Lord tried him."

God had given a promise to Joseph by way of a dream when he was very young, but it was not fulfilled right away. It was the very Word of God given by way a dream that tried Joseph. But not only did the Word of the Lord test Joseph it also purified Him. Joseph like us was still just a man, common flesh and bone; and had to be purified. Even Job the most upright man of His day, which eschewed evil, was tried by the fire of Gods Word. God desires to perfect us, not just take us through tests. His very Word is perfecting us as we submit and obey Him. Joseph retained His integrity when enticed. He said, “how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?” Gen 39:9 After Joseph had suffered a while, Gods Word came to pass! 1Pe 5:10
I. The Truth
The Dream came to pass! We see that Joseph had to learn some things about God and about himself while in His sufferings. He learned to trust God. He learned to serve. He learned to obey. He learned to forgive. He learned the TRUTH! The Truth is what made Joseph FREE! John 8:32
II. The Purpose
God showed Joseph that He allowed all the things to happen to him for a purpose. Did God want Joseph to be thrown in the pit? Did God want Joseph to suffer? No! But God allowed it for a purpose. A great and wonderful purpose!
III. The Plan
To deliver His people! Its one thing to be going through suffering but its quite another when you know that God is in full control and has a plan. It’s not in vain! It’s not for naught. God has a plan! A beautiful plan to deliver His people in these last days! He has sent his men not boys but men ahead before to become the delivers of the world! We have been persecuted because of the Word of God. We have been despitefully used and abused, however it’s all for a glorious purpose! To bring end time deliverance to those that sit in darkness. A great Light is sprung up. We have passed from death unto Life and from darkness unto Light. We must take this Light and Life to the World! We must bring deliverance to the captives. It’s our great privilege to be used by God in these last days!
