The Highway of Holiness

The Highway of Holiness

Are there few that be saved?

Luke 13:24  Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.

Luke 13:25  When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:

The narrow path that leads to life is the path least traveled and becomes narrower and narrower as one travels it. In other words for the flesh it gets more and more difficult. However we must remember it's the only path that leads to LIFE! The more we unload the easier it becomes. Flesh and blood cannot continue to travel this path that leads to ETERNAL LIFE. This path is a path that shines brighter and brighter. Every hidden motive will be exposed as we continue to travel this path. It will take some groaning and some anguish, praying more earnestly to continue on this narrow path. However to enter the Gate of the City at the end of the path we must be DEAD to self.

1Co 15:50  Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

This very same Scripture was mentioned twice in the book of Proverbs.

Pro 14:12  There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

Pro 16:25  There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

Pro 3:7  Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.

Pro 8:33  Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not.
